A useful first working day
1. Set up your business
Open your workspace and follow Your first steps. In Settings, choose your profession, business name, document language and currency. Add your own bank details so your customers can pay you directly. Existing records keep their original currency.
2. Add a customer and catalogue item
Save the customer’s name and contact details, then add the product or service with a price. For food production, link a costing to a product and review the suggested selling price before applying it.
3. Record and repeat work
Create an order or a quotation. Orders accumulate in an unsent invoice by customer and currency. Use Repeat to create a separate draft with the original prices, or save a linked template under Templates & recurring work. Recurring dates wait for your review; they never automatically charge or approve work.
4. Prepare, send and receive
Review an invoice, its due date and bank instructions. Preparing fixes the details. Open your business email application to send it, then separately record that you sent it. Check your bank account before recording a payment. Download or print the document in its selected language.
5. Plan production and check results
Production & shopping consolidates quantities by delivery or entry date. It rounds up to complete batches and flags missing costings. Check stock before buying. Business results separates estimated costs, revenue and recorded service expenses; it is not a final-profit or tax report.
6. Protect your work
New-order drafts are kept on the current device when local storage is available. Reopen New order to recover one, then review it before saving. Export a full backup, including images, in Settings. Keep it private. If a draft changes in another tab, reopen it before continuing.
